Overview & Verdict
Flipped Chat combines character creation with a web and mobile chat experience. Its editing and restart tools may appeal to people who like shaping a story as they go. Check the plan and message mode costs before settling into a long conversation.
Our verdict: compare the character experience with the full cost of using it. A good fit should make both clear before you commit.
Pros (What Worked Well)
- Character creation includes personality and an introduction.
- Character chat on web and mobile, with image and video options.
- You can compare its offer with other companion apps before committing.
Cons (What Could Be Better)
- Memory has limits, and richer interactions can depend on the plan. A longer subscription does not prove better conversation quality.
- Public feature lists do not prove reply quality or long-term consistency.
Our Experience & Review Approach
This review checks the provider’s public product pages and available pricing information. We have not claimed a paid hands-on test or measured response quality. The score below is an average from other review websites, kept separate from our assessment.
Our review methodology explains how we assess features, costs and limitations.
What the App Is Like to Use - Features & Usability
Character Selection & Customization
Character creation includes personality and an introduction. Write a short opening that gives the AI a clear role.
Chatting & Interaction Quality
The official FAQ explains edit, reset, rewind and restart controls. These can help repair a scene, but they do not guarantee perfect memory.
Group Chats & Roleplay
The app supports character roleplay. A dedicated multi-character group chat was not confirmed in the official FAQ checked.
Adult & Intimate Content
The provider restricts public NSFW display and uses moderation. Do not treat it as a promise of unrestricted content.
Image & Video Creation
The FAQ describes image and video options. Compare access and allowances for the exact membership you are offered.
Voice Features
Voice is part of the character setup. Check the available audio interaction and any call charges in your account.
Data Protection & Privacy
Do not assume fictional chat is anonymous. Read the provider’s privacy policy and check account deletion and data retention before sharing personal details. Use a separate password and avoid identifying information in a character’s background.
Cost & Subscription Details
Basic chat and character creation have free access. Pro and Platinum add features; the current purchase screen is the place to confirm costs.
| Item | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Free access | Basic chat and character creation |
| Pro / Platinum | Extra access and memory; check the current offer |
| Media and richer modes | Confirm any separate currency cost |
Credits & Extra Spending
Check the balance before and after your first media request. This helps you estimate the cost of the way you actually use the app. A subscription and an action allowance are separate questions.
Cancellation & Refunds
Read the terms shown at purchase. Confirm how to stop renewal, when cancellation takes effect and whether a refund is available. If you pay through an app store, check that store’s subscription settings too. Keep the cancellation confirmation.
